Our 2025 Progress Report is now available. Since the programme began, 1,410 stoves have been installed across Northern Uganda, benefiting around 12,037 people. Beneficiaries have planted roughly 14,100 trees, and the improved stoves have cut CO₂ emissions by an estimated 2,645 tonnes.
The report also documents the wider social impact: around 2,820 women trained in safe stove use and kitchen hygiene, and 31 community savings and credit groups founded along the way.
As part of our monitoring, a control system introduced in October confirmed that nearly all installed stoves remain in active use. You can read the full report and the monitoring summary below.
