Stove Plus has received an official endorsement from the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda. In a letter dated June 2026, Hon. Sam Engola (MP), Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, recommends the project for support and partnership with foundations and donors.

The letter notes that the project has been active in Northern Uganda since 2022 — in Erute County South, Lango Sub-Region — where, as of June 2026, 1,621 cookstoves have been installed across 31 villages, benefiting approximately 12,644 Ugandans. It recognises the programme’s contribution to Uganda’s national priorities: improving health through smoke-free cooking, reducing deforestation, combating climate change, and empowering local communities.
